First published in scandinavian weeklies 47-48/2000 printed on 24 golden and silver folium bags.

Don Rosa says: "The Calendar baggies.... they were just supposed to be portraits. I made each one a complete gag like it was a complete comic cover! But I was paid for just a simple drawing. I'm crazy! ".

The drawings can be selected here:

When the drawings were published on-line on Aku Ankka's homepage in December 2001, some minor changes were done to the order of sequence. This being:
a) Little Helper was used for December 1st instead of Donald.
b) Donald was used for December 5th.
c) HD&L were used for December 6th - 8th instead of 5th to 7th.
d) The Beagle boys (December 12th) and Neighbour Jones
(December 16th) switched places.
When asked about his intentions for the order of sequence Don Rosa said:
"I don't think I told them that there needed to be any special order, except that the three nephews had to be in the order I intended since their pics told a 3-panel gag. I also intended for Donald to be no.1, which is why I have him holding a big "1". Did they remove the "1"? But... why would they make the Helper be no.1? That makes no sense."
