Don Rosa's comments: JANUARY: SEVEN CITIES OF CIBOLA Here I reveal the final steps of the Barks story 'The Seven Cities of Cibola' ('Sunien seitsemän kaupunkia', AA 9-12/81), in which $crooge is searching for the other one of the American legendary golden cities. The search for cities of Eldorado and Cibola (must've been the first American-style suburbs) and their treasures was an important reason to embark on exploratory missions to the New World. Otherwise, the conquering of the western hemisphere might certainly have delayed by at least 200 years! Then even Finland might have been there. But this didn't happen.
