MARCH: TRAIL OF THE UNICORN Have you ever read the excellent story by Barks, 'Trail of the Unicorn' ('Aku Ankka yksisarvisen jäljillä', AA 2-5/79)? The guy dressed as a fortune-teller is Gladstone. He has just pulled Donald's leg by selling this fake unicorn. $crooge has sent Donald to hunt this fabulous creature for his private zoo. The HD&L are trying to catch the real creature (which actually appears in a later scene in the story). If you look real closely into the picture, you may see the path of rice that guided Donald to the ancient temple, where Gladstone was waiting with his fake animal. (D.U.C.K. spoiler: look at the horn of the real unicorn.) |
