Don Rosa's comments: APRIL: DONALD DUCK'S ATOM BOMB This is a posing scene based on the shorter story 'Donald Duck's Atom Bomb' ('Aku Ankan atomipommi', Juhlasarjat 8) by Carl Barks. He drew it in the form of one-pagers of a couple of panels. The story was originally intended for a leaflet that the 'Cheerios'-cereals manufacturer was distributing in 1947. Actually the only effect of the Donald's atom bomb was that all the residents of the [Duckburg] town lost their hair. The Disney-corporation has denied using the original final panels in the story, because they depict Donald making nice profit from his deed by selling hair-growing potion to the now-bald residents of Duckburg.
