Name:
Quackmore Duck |
Address:
He grew up at The Duck-farm at the country-side outside Duckburg. He also lived somewhere in or nearby Duckburg after meeting Hortense McDuck in 1902 and until 1930. What happened to him after that is of yet unknown. Since Donald is the only family member shown in histories covering the period after 1930 we can assume that he and the rest of his family, left Duckburg some time after leaving Scrooge in 1930. Perhaps he and his wife Hortense live the same place as their daughter Della and her husband.

Biography:
Quackmore Duck was born in Duckburg? around 1875 as the elder? of three siblings.
In 1902 he met Hortense McDuck, Scrooges youngest sister who had just arrived from Scotland, with a temper very similar to his own. In The Sharpie of the Culebra Cut Don Rosa shows that Hortense was still very interested in "cowboys" during her, Scrooges and Matildas stay in Panama in 1906. In the beginning of Lo$ part XI - The Empire-Builder from Calisota that takes place in 1908 Don Rosa shows that they were engaged. They finally were married some years later.
From 1908 Until 1930 he worked for Scrooge as a book-keeper, and thus ran the business together with Scrooges two sisters; Hortense (his wife) and Matilda. Around 1908 while Scrooge were abroad they also hired Miss Emily Quackfaster as Scrooges new secretary.
When Scrooge finally returned to Duckburg in 1930 he and the rest of the family prepared for a nice reunion, but because of Scrooges unpleasant behaviour when he returned he, and the rest of the family left him...
Whatever happened to Quackmore, Hortense and their kids after that incident is for the mostly unknown. What we know is that Donald appeared in Duckburg in the 1940's and that Della lived elsewhere.
