Biography:
Scotty first appears in The Billionaire of Dismal Downs as Scrooge's friendly helper during a local contest in Scottish sports held in 1902. Shortly before Scrooge and his sisters left for America during the same year, he was hired as caretaker for the McDuck Castle. He died in 1948 and The old Castle's Secret Barks shows that a jewel thief called "Diamond Dick" took his place shortly after in order to seek for the old McDuck treasure.
