Don Rosa is currently working on a new story The Black Knight GLORPS Again! In this story Arpin Lusène (The Black Knight) returns to Duckburg in order to steal (destroy) a fortune for Uncle $crooge.

The A Letter from Home or The Old Castle's Other Secret story was finished in early August and will probably see print sometimes in early 2004. This is Don Rosa's longest story ever. It takes place in the McDuck Castle at Dismal Downs and includes the return of Scrooge's oldest sister Matilda McDuck.

Don Rosa is for the time being working on a sequel to The Crown of the Crusader Kings. Working titles are "A Letter from Home" and "The Old Castle's OTHER Secret". This story has turned into the longest story he has ever done... 36 pages in the three-part continued form (including the 2 full recap pages) - the one-part version will thus be 34 pages - one page longer than The Quest for Kalevala. The story is done for Egmont and will most probably be published some time early in 2004. However it can't appear in America until after The Crown of the Crusader Kings which acts as part one of this pair of stories about $crooge's search for the lost Treasury of the Knights Templar. This story includes the return of Scrooge's oldest sister Matilda McDuck.

Good news from France: Don Rosa's good friend Pascal Pierrey is now back in his old position as the editor for the Picsou Magazine only. It seems that he has plans to bring the Magazine back to it's great quality from a few years ago. Among the plans is a new series of nice Don Rosa pin-ups.

Don Rosa has just sent in a new story to Egmont. It's a 13-pager called Trash and Treasure. It's another "gag" story about some trouble appearing when $crooge cleans out a cabinet of old office equipment, and then he realizes that something valuable was in with the trash that Donald just had thrown out.
