December 27., 2006 A 2007-calendar featuring 12 drawings of 12 active Disney-artists, including Don Rosa (January), is published in issue 52/2006 of the Norwegian and Danish weeklies. Comments by the artists are included in the Norwegian calendar, but not the Danish one - even though the comments were translated also for the Danish version. Don Rosa is represented with a Goldie+$crooge drawing (Se it here) which has previously been published only in USA, Germany and Finland. He says: "They wanted a Yukon scene with $crooge and, knowing that only Finland and America and Germany have ever seen that cover, and since it's my favorite piece of art, and since it would not cost Egmont anything (it's already published elsewhere), and since I just didn't feel like drawing -- I suggested they use that piece." September 2006 The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck Companion has now been published. August 27., 2006 Don Rosa is now doing 12 posters for Egmont, showing 12 topics to illustrate the "$crooge McDuck mythos", celebrating the 60th anniversary of $crooge next year. Don Rosa says: "...they are all tributes to all my favorite Barks stories, and definitely the most complex full-page drawings I've ever done. They have LOTS more detail than even the PICSOU pin-ups I did. Each one has a large central figure of $crooge surrounded by 8-10 scenes from pertinent Barks stories." These drawings is meant to appear monthly throughout 2007. Some publishers will use them as full-page pin-ups, others might make fold-out posters, and somebody might assemble them into a calendar either in 2007 or in 2008 after they have used them individually. January 6., 2006 Don Rosa has recently stated that he will do more stories this year, at least some of those is said to be "shorter gag-stories". Word is now out that The Prisoner of White Agony Creek will be published sometime around April-June this year, at least in Scandinavia and in Finland. It seems that Egmont have waited longer than usual with this story, maybe because Don Rosa has had a break in order to arrange personal business. There is still no word about whether this will have any effect on Gemstone's plans about publishing a Lo$-II book collecting all B-chapters.
