Cover for "Treasure Under Glass", showing Uncle Scrooge and Donald Duck in diving suits at the bottom of the sea. Uncle Scrooge has found a chest. In the background there are some fish and some scary sharks, the closest shark is right behind Donald's back.
The various editions of this cover illustrates well what difference various publishers can do. Don Rosa says: "I THINK the American editior flipped it to make room for the UPC bar code. Flipping a cover makes absolutely no difference to me! But at least one time they removed a nice background -- the Scandanavian version of "Treasure Under Glass" was quite different from the American version which included the background sunken ship. I guess I don't object TOO much to this. . . I know the European editors like much more SIMPLE covers than I like to do. . . as long as they don't hurt the original!"
