Donald completely demounts his car (the 313) for an annual check. But while visiting Gyro Gearloose to have one particular part repaired, neighbor Jones arranges a spare part sale in order to help Donald get rid of what he believes is garbage. When Donald & HD&L return and find out about this, they start going around the entire neighbourhood to buy back all the parts of 313 in order to rebuild it.
