In this story $crooge and his nephews are going to the McDuck Castle at Dismal Downs in order to seek for the hidden treasure of the Knights Templar that was mentioned in the end of "The Crown of the Crusader Kings". $crooge's first discovery is that the new caretaker of the castle is his own sister - Matilda McDuck. Moniseur
Molay (head of the International Money Council) and his associate Monsieur Mattressface are following in our friends' footsteps - changing all metal locks and obstacles into soft gold with the help of the philosopher's stone.
