There they both find remnants after the army of Alexander the great and 10 avatars which show to be the key to a large treasure. But they are not alone - the evil maharajah of Punjab has secretly been following the expedition... Interesting facts: By the time this story was done Don Rosa normally worked under a 24 page limit so initially he was thinking about doing a story about only some of the avatars. However Egmont was kind and allowed him to use 4 extra pages for this particular story so that all the 10 avatars could be involved. This story wasn't published in Sweden until 3 years after it was published in Norway and Denmark because extra magazines for some reason are very seldom enclosed with KA&Co.
