n this section Don Rosa's production is analysed via quantitative methods. The aim of the analyses is to bring up accurate information about the development of Don Rosa's annual production, and to some extent also his style.

The data used in these analyses are the results of careful counting of every page of every story, and of every panel in every page of Don Rosa's stories. Most of the data have even been compared to similar data collected the same way for previous versions of this section. Most of the data have thus been both counted and re-counted.

These analyses are limited to Don Rosa's productivity when it comes to Disney comics stories only. Other works as covers, pin-ups, posters, etc. are not included. Then there is the fact that Don Rosa, unlike Carl barks, doesn't keep his own list of when each story is finished, so that other methods has to be used in order to determine when a story was done. Even though these methods don't give an entirely correct picture of the actual details, it's the closest we can get at this point, and the large picture will still be close to the truth.
